Most negatives are the wait staff with dining in, but I usually don't mind as I order for pick up (be warned, they are not allowed to put the meat in the broth so eye of round will be raw in a bag. You can dump it in the broth and have them throw away the bag). Huge portions, broth is a little salty but very savory and light; not sweet. Peanut sauce is best I have found in town (again savory, not sweet), though they give you too much of it. Better have a huge bowl if you pick anything other than a small for pick up.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could purely on service. They hardly acknowledge you, never ask if you're okay and this has been the last few times I visited. Today they sat us down at a dirty table when there was an entire empty dining room. I took it upon myself to clean off the dirty napkin and candy wrapper. Thats not what bothered me to write a review, that's typical service at their restaurant. I ordered pork egg rolls (their menu literally says egg rolls with pork and veggies.) I get brought spring rolls (which have mint and don't taste as good as other places.) So I tell the waiter they got it wrong, then 2 waiters one girl and one boy tell me I'm wrong in what I ordered. Even after I got them to bring me a menu and showed them it says pork in their egg rolls he proceeded to tell me I was wrong! HORRIBLE SERVICE. The food is great which is so depressing because I will not be returning.

Pretty decent pho place, though I personally still prefer Pho Thaison. I think the broth here is a bit on the thin and salty (or MSG?) side.

One of my favorite pho places. Clean with modern decor. Great flavor in their broth and and an extensive menu of different noodle options and other dishes. Quick service. Be prepared to leave full even with the small bowl.

The food was amazing. I ordered a large pho with beef and it came out with plenty of sprouts, noodles, and meat. I could only finish half but I'm not a large eater. The flavor was amazing and they provide 3 types of spices to jazz up the order. Their egg rolls are also served cut so that a few people can try them. Customer service was great and speedy. I will definitely come back. I've yet to have pho anywhere else in the area that competes. Lunch time can be a bit too busy but their food is prepared and served pretty quick. My leftovers were also delicious that afternoon, full of flavor and satisfaction. Only downside, there is a lack of atmosphere or ambiance. Otherwise this place would be stellar. Great food!

Great pho for cheap! - initially gave a 5 star review. Edit: service is absolutely the worst. We went and met some friends there who had already ordered, and after waiting for 15 minutes and waving at staff multiple times to come take our order, we left. I can understand being busy, but when you wave to get someone's attention and they see you but never come see what you need... that's just awful. If you are somehow able to get the ignorant staff to take your order and actually try the pho, its excellent. Sorry Pho Dan, you've lost a customer for over 2 years. I won't be going back.

In the past month I have tried almost every Pho restaurant in town being new to Austin. No one has the the tender quality meat or portion sizes as Pho Dan. Same consistent flavors and service every time.
