#Lead in Chocolate?! So much for "organic" - but, then, is it any surprise that soil could be polluted? What do YOU do with your used batteries and electronics (and unused pharmaceuticals)? These are hazardous wastes and, if not properly disposed of, their components will find their way into aquifers and drinking water and . . . food. (along with other pollutants dumped and released by manufacturing, mining, etc.)
