I don't know about this. I think that out of suffering comes much brokenness. Out of pain comes a person who is continuing to battle those memories. This can make a person vulnerable and reserved, guarded of their own emotional attachments but also understanding, accepting and deeply seeking. It may give a person a quiet gentleness and huge amounts of empathy. But strength? I don't know about that. I certainly don't feel that I have a strong soul. A strong character, yes, but a still very shattered soul.
You cant know what pain feels like unless you've suffered the same pain yourself, then you become a beacon to others who  are feeling pain also. There is always a gift that comes from pain, look for yours and shine your light

Spectacular.
Hi All

Castlerigg Stone Circle II

This is my second view of the Stone Circle at Castlerigg in the Lake District, UK. I was in the Lakes over the New Year holiday a couple of years ago and went to find this image. The weather had been promising and I expected to find this sort of drama and was not disappointed. A side benfit of such weather is that you often get these sites to yoursself - though there were a few people around, it was the job of a minute to clone to the solitude that I felt whilst I was there.

I love this sort of sky; Dark in places with bright sunlit tips to the clouds and amazing pinky purple colours and all set off by the stunning scenery of the Lakeland Fells. How about those Fells ... Skiddaw, Blencathra and Knot ... names to conjur with eh?

Never stop feeling something great is about to happen. Never stop believing in yourself, that's where the magic is.
