one plus one

We sometimes forget here in Los Angeles that we get most of our water from the Sierra Nevada mountains and Northern California. It comes to us through the massive California Aqueduct. One cool thing the aqueduct has given us (besides our water supply) is a huge lake (called Pyramid Lake) up in the mountains that you pass on your way into or out of Los Angeles. I've wanted to photograph this lake for or awhile, but the skies weren't cooperating. Finally nature smiled on me and when passing by I got to enjoy a brilliant, colorful sunset.
