Nicholas James Gentry

A British artist from London. Much of his artistic output has been generated with the use of contributed artefacts and materials. He states that through this process "contributor, artist and viewer come closer together". His art is influenced by the development of consumerism, technology, identity and cyberculture in society, with a distinctive focus on obsolete media. Drawing on recycled and obsolete technological materials as the grounds for his paintings, London-based artist Nick Gentry creates a conversation between digital and analog processes. Gentry constructs his painting supports out of materials such as film negatives, VHS cassettes, X-rays, and floppy disks.

Brandi Milne

Southern California artist Brandi Milne was born and raised in Anaheim. She grew up happily, surrounded by a wealth of inspiration as a child, taking pleasure in classic cartoons, crayons and coloring books, Sid and Marty Kroft creations, toys, candies and kitschy fabrics and notions of the times. Self-taught and emotionally driven, Milne's work speaks of love, loss, pain and heartbreak in the first person. She decorates it oddly with a wink of humor and a delicious candied-coat finish - a combination that can be considered highly addictive to viewers around the world.

This is the imaginational spirit of existence: everything is heavy with meaning and everything must be soothed. The spirit of existence in sin and atonement.Vilém Flusser It is the ambition to create multilayered picture compositions that stands in the centre of myactions, which consist of the synthesis of event-debris, informel, hard-edge shape fragments and sometimes entirely banal momentums.

Shuby uses print, collage, paint and photography to create original reinterpretations that revel in absurdity, kitsch and irony. Her cheeky visions are almost dream-like in their Technicolor intensity. She works in a wide variety of mediums including paintings, print making, ceramics and reworking found objects. Her influences include Josephine Baker, Busby Berkeley, Andy Warhol, Eduardo Paolozzi, Richard Hamilton, John Stezaker, retro advertising, car boot sales, Seaside charity shops and The Carnivalesque.Shuby has made a large amount of street art that includes paste ups and spray painted shutters. Her street art began with work inspired by singer and dancer Josephine Baker and the Busby Berkeley film "The Gang's all Here".

Blek le Rat

Pioneering French graffiti artist Blek Le Rat counts the infamous Banksy among his many admirers. Using stencils instead of stylized lettering for graffiti, Blek was one of the first true street artists. Originally known for stenciling a giant graphic image of a rat all over Paris, which to him symbolized both freedom and the dissemination of art through the city as if it were the plague, in recent years Blek’s work has become more political, focusing on the homeless, the environment, and other social causes. His posters of kidnapped French journalist Florence Aubenas helped raised public awareness of her situation, pressuring politicians and journalists to work harder for her release.
