I'm not one to want to wait for my breakfast, unless it's Elizabeth St. Café's Breakfast Bahn Mi. It's vegetarian and dairy-free, for my lactose intolerant hommies. Their bread is always perfect (also dairy-free). If you wake up promising to never drink again their brunch drink list will test your commitment. I've tried three of their punches and they were all quite tasty. If you are steadfast in your commitment, they serve several interesting non-alcoholic drinks. A vinegar soda sounded really nasty to me but I tried it and it's actually quite flavorful and cool. They serve brunch well after noon on Sunday when there's only a short wait. You can bring your dog if you're sitting outside. You can often skip the wait entirely and get counter service. For dinner, I love getting their spring rolls - shrimp and crab are both yummy, peanut sauce is delish and you can hold the jalapeños/fresno chiles if you're a wus (like me). If you're vegan/vegetarian and miss eating phō allow Elizabeth Street Café to fix that for you. The tofu mushroom Bahn Mi rocks, as does the avocado sprout. If you can't decide which one to get, add avocado and sprouts to the tofu mushroom - this is amazing. I can't eat most of their deserts because of food allergies but dayam - they look delicious.

So disappointed in this place! I was visiting from Houston for my birthday and was looking forward to trying this place after seeing all the pictures and reading the menu. First off the food was mediocre at best... The majority of our party ordered vermicelli bowls and we were all disappointed that the carrots and non daikon radishes weren't pickled. For the price they definitely do not deliver. Our waitress recommended the fried chicken vermicelli and said it was the most requested dish. Chicken had no flavor what so ever :(. Once food was brought to the table service was pretty much non existent after that. There were also a ton of flies in the restaurant and even dead flies on the window seal and floor. So gross... Finally we needed our tab divided into four cards and the waitress asked us to divide amounts ourself and write our orders down on a paper. So we did... she takes it charges all our cards then comes back and says were short a certain amount. After reviewing we let her know she forgot to include the tax onto our items and to just divide it by 4 equally. She throws her hands up in frustration and walks off. Ridiculous customer service! I had to go ask for someone else to help us so that we could finish checking out. Never did we get an apology for the inconvenience nor did they recognize their terrible customer service. Will definitely never go back!

Upscale vietnamese. It's good, and the food is worth the price; drinks are hit-or-miss. Go on off hours or be prepared to wait.

One of my consistently good "go to" favorites for brunch or dinner when you want a modern fusion-y take on Vietnamese. Macaroons are awesome. Stuffed french toast. Pho. Fresh pastries. All of it is delish. And a really nice selection of sake. Price is reasonable and the staff balance the right amount of actual service (which austin servers usually forget about) with austin charm (no shortage of that).

Elizabeth's you've hit an all time low. As a long time patron of this cute sofi restaurant I've had it with their fees. After ordering takeout via Favor, I reviewed my receipt to find a 10% "service charge" was added to my bill. For what you ask? Well after calling and questioning the manager it appears that they find it acceptable to charge a 10% service fee to your order for the containers that your food is packaged in on top of their already inflated prices! In what world do you live in that you find it acceptable to add an additional charge ON TOP of my food order without notifying your customers!? NEWS FLASH, that is a business expense! At NO TIME was this "service fee" ever mentioned! We order takeout all the time and this is the first time I've noticed any such fee. Maybe you can argue that I should review my receipts closer or could it be possible that Elizabeth's shouldn't be so deceitful and add a sneaky 10% fee ON TOP OF YOUR BILL without notifying its customers!? What complete disgraceful behavior! I will be notifying everyone via my social media outlets and following up with their GM, William. Sincerely, Pissed off patron

I thought ,Kinda pricy for a noodle shop, then when you taste the food you see where the money went. Quality ingredients and treated well! Servers were very attentive! Eclairs are amazing! Treat yourself to one with the Vietnamese coffee!

Love the design of this place. Croissants and beignets were okay, not great. Hubby had the pork buns and said they were good but not great. I has the gingered rice brunch dish and it was decent but mostly tasted like sriracha. Prices were higher than the food justified. (We were charged for jam offered to us with our croissant). Would maybe try again for dinner but wasn't overly impressed.
