Couldn't agree more.

Dear Google,

Please buy iHeartRadio and figure out how they put their app together.  It is the best streaming app in terms of performance and reliability that I have ever used.  Google Play Music cannot handle changing networks and adaptive bitrates to avoid buffering.  Better yet, just add features to their app and deprecate yours.

Sincerely,
Me

Improvements to Google Calendar for Android

Over the next few days, you'll see lots of improvements to the new Google Calendar app based on your feedback with more coming soon. Here are some of the highlights:

● See more events at a glance with 7-day week view and pinch-to-zoom
● Add Google Drive files to events. Drive will even check if everyone can open them.
● Control whether birthdays from Google+ are shown in settings. You'll also see the same changes on the web next week.
● A new option to show week numbers in settings.
● Import .ics files sent to you in Gmail and other apps

You can download the app on Google Play: www.google.com/calendar/android

PS: Yes, we're still working on Google Calendar for iPhone.  Stay tuned!

Finally!!
Headers and Footers - the way you want them
One of your biggest requests (especially those of you who use Docs to write academic papers) is to be able to customize how headers and footers appear on the first pages of your documents.

With today’s updates, you can now use different headers and footers on the first pages of your documents, which comes in handy for:
> Following academic formatting guidelines (e.g. MLA, CMS, APA)
> Starting page numbering on the second page
> Making a title page without headers or footers

After inserting a header or footer in your document you’ll see a new checkbox--just tick it and you’ll be able to set a different header and footer on the first page.

There’s also a new Insert > Page Number menu that lets you customize how and where you start your page numbers--like on the bottom of the second page, for example.

These updates are now live for the majority of users and will be rolling out to Google Apps for Education and Google Apps for Work customers in the coming weeks.

Bing has some great technology... I'm not so sure it's a great search engine, but Microsoft should find something useful to throw this tech behind...

Awesome!  Lollipop on the #Nexus4
I know there is a meme for this somewhere but... be assured the missing "Nexus 4" in the Lollipop update notice is just a mistake, we are fixing it now :) Now please put down your pitchforks again and let's have some candy !
