Here's the info on my new computer, AND a very important setting for you to check on your Windows PC - especially if you're using Windows 10:

Google has compiled a list of thousands of newspapers from all around the world, small and large, and made their back issues available for reading online. Many even go back to the 1800s. It's an amazing resource that lots of people aren't aware of.

In certain situations you need to change the letter assigned to a drive connected to your Windows computer. Here's how you do that.

Windows has a "secret" much-expanded "Send To" menu, you just need to know how to access it (it's easy) -

The regular "Send to" menu is commonly known. But there is a Super Duper EXPANDED "Send to" menu that most people don't know about.

The danger of using images from Google Images on your website or blog (Getty will get you) and the big Image Bully that's being taken to court (also Getty)

It's great to view websites without having to see all the annoying ads, but there's another reason to use an ad blocker that's even more important -

General Podcast Discussion  -

What's worse than a guest that says "ummm" every 10 seconds? A guest that says "aaaaannnnnnddddd" every 10 seconds. At least the "ums" you can edit out. The stretched-out "ands" typically connect two parts  of a sentence or thought and often have to stay.

Not seeking advice here, just had to vent a little while in the middle of an editing session.  :)

Patreon is interesting. For me, it took a few months before I got my first patron and I got a little frustrated. Some podcasts would probably get supporters right away. I don't use their "Rewards" system at all because I couldn't really think of a way to make it work in my situation, so that may be why it took a while to catch on with my listeners. In the beginning I was not sure how to tactfully "beg" for money. But my approach is "this show is entirely listener supported - here's how you can help support this show that I put out every Friday." Slow and steady, it's growing.

With the passing of my father, I knew we would need to work with a funeral home including the purchase of a casket and funeral services. Admittedly, I went into this encounter with some preconceived ideas about the funeral industry and the high-pressure sales pitches to spend a lot of money when the customer is grief-stricken and in a position of vulnerability. For that reason, instead of sending my mom to do this on her own, my two brothers and I accompanied her. What a pleasant surprise we were in for. Andrew was professional, not pushy in any way, and he truly listened. He did not steer us at all toward the most expensive options. He simply pointed out the pros and cons in the various decisions to be made. I felt like he would have done the exact same thing if it were his own mother he was dealing with. From that first meeting, to the funeral itself, to the graveside service, it's clear that Andrew knows exactly how to handle every situation so that the family bears no extra burdens during this difficult time. My mom and our whole family can happily recommend Andrew and the Sunset Point Funeral Home to anyone.

This is a great shop for running accessories! Anita is always very helpful, and her two dogs are a friendly greeting to the customers. For running clothes, it's primarily geared toward females - but I get my electrolyte tables, water bottles and other accessories there because it's so convenient to me (right on Main Street in Safety Harbor).

Dr. Metzler and staff helped us navigate the difficult process of dealing with an aging Yorkie with multiple health issues. A few months ago we got a new puppy and wouldn't think of going to any other vet for checkups, shots, etc. Very knowledgeable and compassionate, and the new Countryside office is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Overall negative experience. We like trying new places and won't be back to this one. Food took a good 30+ minutes to arrive, and then it was only for 3 of the 6 people at our table. The food for the other 3 was brought at least 15 minutes later (how long does it take to create a Caesar salad?) so by the time that food came out, the other people were ready for their take-out boxes. For my order, I had an extra side order that never came out but I didn't ask for it because of how long it would take. It was on the bill though, so that had to be adjusted. We saw other guests leave before their food came because it was taking so long. Server was friendly (but stressed out) and it wasn't entirely her fault, but for a place that was nearly empty when we walked in for lunch, we spent way too much time waiting. And the prices don't make it a bargain. On top of all that, the Caesar salad at Wendy's is much better.
