Not the best experience. Seating area was very loud. Menu was a little difficult to comprehend, but the hostess was gracious to clarify. The service was perfection! Not overbearing. The food was fresh and delicious, but on the pricey side.

It would be hard to describe the aromas, textures and tastes we were exposed to last night at "The Feast of San Genero with guest Chef Joe Cicala. Each dish was a unique and incredible experience . The pairing of the wine was exquisite. Several times through out the event the Chefs would address their guests, detailing each ingredient and speak on its origin. It was a lovely evening. Thanks also to all those behind the scenes, who work to bring each dish to perfection....... a special thanks goes to Lauren Sylvester, along with everyone involved, in helping to make this event a truly fasinating evening.

Went on a friday night with reservations made a week before. Would likely be a good restaurant if they knew how to deal with a busy night. May return on a slow night.

Journeyed there with some friends and while the atmosphere and service were good, Our waitress was excellent and knowledgable. The bread and appetizers were good. The beef brisket was fatty and not prepared in a manner that I traditionally expected it to be and sides were a la carte. The menu could have been more extensive in terms of soups being offered as well as a variety of shell seafood- for which there was none listed. The coffee and dessert were good, but rather the standard fare of most restaurants.

Note: restaurant and its owners have sold out to Urban Outfitters (another Philly based business). UO has been integrating food operations into their corporation for some time now. Typically locating food service adjacent to or within their stores. The Vetri group will continue to run Osteria, as well as their other Philly area restaurants. Not clear what will happen facility-wise at Osteria. The Ventri Morristown, NJ location is closed. I'm sure that Osteria on North Broad will continue. Osteria is a comparative large restaurant with two main areas; one of which is under glass as in greenhouse. Tables are comparatively close to each other. Staff works as a group to insure you get prompt service all around. While menu doesn't appear vegetarian friendly, there are a few items and the kitchen will make modifications to dishes to make the vegetarian. Broad menu for everyone else looking for Italian food, well prepared and presented.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Chicken liver rigatoni is incredible. Great service and ambiance.

Great pizza and pasta, share a pizza and a pasta and you will still have room for dessert.

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Atmosphere is great for parties and not too formal. The venison loin was absolutely delicious, as was the cheese plate. Definitely try one of the pizzas or something with their prosciutto di parma. While it is expensive, it is definitely worth the price.
