Twin Oaks is a great golf course at a great price. The greens have been updated and are well maintained. It is a beautiful course with forgiving fairways and challenging tee locations. Great course for the beginner or the experienced golfer. If you're in Statesville take time to stop by and check it out. You'll love it for the challenge and the fair price.

I haven't played the course since last October. Wow what a difference! The fairways are in fantastic shape and the greens are much better than the last time I played. Our round was on Easter weekend and a little snooping with some of the employees let me find out they have new greens in the works this summer. That will make Twin Oaks a awesome course! Nice job so far to everyone involved in all the changes.

The best thing here is the price, The staff is also friendly and helpful. The biggest thing that hurts this course is the greens, they have had problems with the greens for several years now, even before last summer that damaged a lot of other courses greens. It can get crowded on the weekends in the warmer months just because of the low green fees, so be prepared to wait.

They have great deals now while they are upgrading their greens. I play there at least once a week, and the guy at the front is halarious. Good price, good people, good course.

Twin Oaks has the best golf course in the area. Easily. This course has some excellent and challenging water par 3's and a couple even more challenging par 5's. The staff is great, the clubhouse just had a brand new facelift and the price can't be beat.

Good place for beginner and casual golfers. Fairways are wide open and forgiving. Greens aren't great but, again, are okay for a beginner. Prices are low, so it's worth checking out of you want to play a quick 9 holes... you get what you pay for. I figure that after I can break 90 consistently then I'll begin hitting at other, more pricey, places more often.

I have played a lot of "value" golf courses in the past and most of them dont really have the potential to be anything more than a cow pasture. This course has the potential, but the condition that it is now is by far worse than anything that I have ever seen. Currently most of the greens are in horrible shape. You can actually see 1/2" gaps between the sod on some greens! No, Im not joking! Dried up mud holes on the greens. Crab grass covers most of the greens (at least I think it some sort of crab grass, either way its a weed and effects the play of the ball) Large clumps of grass in the fairways were they waited way too long to mow the grass. Its like the place was closed for an entire year or two and then one day they just decided to open it up again. The people who run this course have no idea what they are doing. I play with my grandfather who uses the gold tee's. On some of these holes there are literally 100 yards difference between the whites and the golds. On one par 4 in particular there is over 100 yds difference and left only 180 yds to the green from the gold tee's. I have never seen a course that gives that kind of handicap. I might go back in a year or two if its still open. Like I said there is ALOT of potential it just needs to be run by someone who knows what they are doing.
