I come here a lot to eat the Swedish Meatballs that are absolutely delicious I must confess but I don't like to buy furniture here. I get a headache walking through the isles. I feel like I am lost in a maze. The worst part is thinking you got a great deal on a bed and then taking it home and spending 6 hours of your time putting it together. My time is worth more than what I saved by going to Ikea to buy the bed in the first place.

It's a standard Ikea - you know what you're getting. I almost always buy something every time I stop here (I can't help myself). Huge selection, affordable prices. Great parking.

Got some furniture delivered. Told me they would be here before noon and showed up later that evening at 6:30. I didn't even get a call from them telling me they were running behind. I had to call IKEA's customer service number, wait on the line for 30 minutes. When they finally picked up the phone they gave me the number for the delivery company they use.. absolutely the worst service ever. Would not recommend to even my worst enemy.

Just visited this store with my girlfriend. We bought a gorgeous sofa and some mats for our living room. This was my first experience in this store and all I can say is WOW. You can tell that everything that everything sold here is top notch from looking at their exhibition rooms. We will definitely return.

My husband and I were severely disappointed with our trip to the San Diego Ikea today (8/10/2013). We have been to Ikea in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh and have purchased online so when we decided to look for office organization and curtain panels we decided to drive the 45 minutes from our new home to Ikea in San Diego and really have no wish to ever go back. We knew that it being Saturday that it was going to be busy and even that was not the worst problem, our problem came with one of the employees! While trying to show my husband a red and white curtain one of your employees by the name of Laurie decided to show another customer the same curtain but instead of waiting or politely asking me if I was done she pretended that I wasn't there or that I had in my hand said curtain panel and proceeded to yank it out my hand and crowd me out of the way in front of my three small children and husband, I couldn't believe it! There was no apology and my husband was given glares by both employee and other customer as if we were in the way. After we gathered the panels we decided on (which were the ones she yanked from me) we seen said employee and politely told her that she was rather rude in which her reasoning was she wanted to show the other customer the back, as if my business was not important and then again rather rudely asked if I wanted her help anywhere else. I cannot believe this is how a company would wish to portray their customer service relations.

My fiance and I spent almost $3,000.00 on our new kitchen and they said it would be about two hours for them to package it all up if we wanted to wait OR it would only be $59 to have it delivered next day. So we paid the fee and they gave us a 5p-9p window. We cancelled all of our plans and sat at home for FOUR hours waiting....we just climbed into bed at 10pm when what do you know **knock knock knock, Ikea** We never received a phone call confirming the delivery, never received a call that they were running late, and never had we imagined that they would show up to our house at 10pm AT NIGHT!! I will never purchase anything from them again - that is beyond bad customer service.
