Wednesday at Strathmore, Evgeny Kissin in what for most would be a brilliant recital, but for him seemed like a slightly off night.
Evgeny Kissin's latest Washington Performing Arts recital is sometimes, but not uniformly brilliant.

On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Orchestra comes to Washington under the dynamic young music director who may or may not be able to save it.
Nézet-Séguin, 40, is the hip young music director everyone wants. Is that enough to fix the field’s problems?
