If you often listen to music from your Amiga, especially with headphones, this amp may sound interesting ;-).
KA 71 – a headphone amplifier with channel mixing, is ready for production. In fact 8 pieces have been fully assembled, some of them even sent to one of distributors. More will be ready next week. The product webpage is also online.

Kolejny mój produkt doprowadzony do etapu seryjnej produkcji. Jeden dystrybutor już ma, ofertę dla pozostałych roześlę po powrocie z AmiParty 21. Tam też będę miał jeden egzemplarz do pomacania, odsłuchania i innych eksperymentów.

Electronic design is slow process...
This looks almost like production version. However I plan to make the logo smaller, and use light (instead of medium) version of the font for "RastPort KA71" text without italic style. Also jack sockets will be moved 0.3 mm to the front for better alignment.

This is prototype 3 of a new product: KA71, a headphone amplifier designed for Amiga. Its main feature is adjustable stereo channel separation. Amiga has 100% separation, so listening to it via headphones is uncomfortable. With KA71 channels can be crossmixed at any amount from full stereo to full mono. KA71 also provides load separation, which yields deeper bass. Thanks to DC/DC power supply converter it has enough power to drive higher impedance phones (like 100 ohm or even more). The amplifier may be powered either from USB (it has microUSB B socket, the same as in smartphones, so one can use phone charger, powerbank, cable to active hub or computer), or from three AAA cells. The design is low-noise and low-distortion. Of course KA71 can be also used as regular phone amp with any source providing "line" levels. Input impedance is standard 50 kohm.

On the photo you see DC/DC converter part already moved from previous prototype 2 and ready for checking. This block design is already verified and not changed from the proto 2. Audio part has been redesigned to decrease noise level.

This is the last of my four products designed before starting RastPort, now "moved" to the brand. Time comes to design some new ones.
KA37 is just a 90° angle PCMCIA connector for towerized Amiga 600 or Amiga 1200.

If you need to dismount an Amiga mainboard and get it out of the case, this small tool is very important. No more using of random pliers.

Another my Amiga gadget is now +RastPort branded. The next one will be MIDI interface. In the meantime I'm going to work on new products.
KA60 – dual port connector for SD2IDE converter. Additional 40-pin IDE port may be used for another drive. Activity (LED) signal from the 40-pin port may be disconnected by removing the jumper.

The first official product of my new business. :-)
My first product under RastPort brand: KA47, single port connector for SD2IDE (Amiga 600 and 1200).
