Many thanks to all participants of our seminar that was held today at the Hong Kong Jewellery Show.

The event with the title "New ‘Kashmir-type’ sapphires from Madagascar and how to distinguish them from their Indian counterparts" was divided into a Gemology part, a practical hands-on section and a scientific report about the formation of Kashmir sapphires.

A TV programme about the fascinating journey of a ruby from the mines of Mogok all the way to our GRS laboratory in Switzerland, featuring Dr. A. Peretti.

Successful release of the Chinese edition of our book 'Pigeon Blood Valley' last Friday in Taiwan at the '2016 Taipei Gemological Symposium'.

The book premier was accompanied by a presentation of Dr. Peretti about with the topics 'Important Ruby Deposits' and 'The Formation of Kashmir Sapphires.

The visitors thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks to the organisation committee.
