I have had as many as 3 gym memberships at one time and I experienced the annoying 15 pound loss then gain the last 3 years. I was literally on my last attempt of losing weight when I started my first challenge at RESULTS in July 2014. Let me first say, RESULTS is a different gym. The coaches and members are supportive of everyone. They offer 6 week challenges where you put a deposit down and if you follow the program they provide you get your deposit back. I've now completed three challenges successfully which means I have lost 75 pounds and as an added bonus - for free. The program is a combination of a straight forward and simple (not always necessarily easily) nutrition program and workout program. RESULTS as a gym offers great classes that are designed to burn the most calories while bringing variety and a challenge so you keep seeing progress without having to dedicate extra hours that you don't have. The coaches are phenomenal and truly care about you and your progress. I'm so happy I found RESULTS and turned my health and fitness around.

This program was awesome. To put my experience in the simplest terms: it works. Bottom line. The owners, the coaches and the other transformers are all super positive, supportive people that truly want you to succeed. I have lost 22.4 pounds in 6 weeks and gained strength, knowledge, fitness, and most importantly, a belief in myself and my ability to finish what I start. Thank you Results family for giving me back a huge part of myself that I was missing.

I did the 6 week challenge where you lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks. First, let me say that almost everyone there is amazing! The trainers are incredible and the members are even better. The program is fun and you feel incredible by completing the challenge. What I don't like: I followed their meal plans to the T and didn't cheat once, I attended 5 classes per week, I signed in every day, I checked in on Facebook every day to give them free advertising, and lost a total of 23.4 pounds in 6 weeks. I did everything they required of me and agreed to, but am now being told that my contracted agreement is changing. 9 days after I completed my final weigh in, one of the owners are telling me that I might not get my deposit back if I haven't "maintained" my weight-loss. They make you write a testimonial before they give you your money back, so by writing this, I will most likely lose mine; even though I have completed everything I've agreed to. I do feel, however, that telling the truth is more important and I am concerned that they think it's ok to change agreements after a contract has been established and signed. The program itself and the staff are great and I am super excited about losing my weight. I have enjoyed it almost every step of the way, but beware: If your opinion differs from his, you most likely won't get your deposit back. We'll see what happens to mine...I will update this review with the "results".

I can't thank the coaches and Results The 24 Hour Gym enough for the change that I have gone through. The coaches have pushed me hard to the point where I feel great mentally, physically, and emotionally...especially physically!!!! The work outs are hard and boy did I sweat!! The meal plan is very simple and easy. That is just what needs to be done to get rid of the fat. Thank you for getting me started to a whole different life style.

This review of Results on Folsom Blvd. is specifically for the 6-week, 20 pound weight loss challenge, which I just successfully completed (27.8 lbs. lost – buh-bam!). If you’re here looking at reviews, what you probably want to know is whether this program is a scam or not. The good news is that it’s not a scam. The even better news is that successfully completing the challenge will leave you feeling empowered, stronger, healthier, and, because it matters to most of us, hotter. And all of that in less than two months. Pretty incredible. The challenge is set up as a bet you make on your own ability to follow through on your workout commitments and to stick to the food plan that has been designed for you. You make a significant deposit (around $400) and if you lose the weight and follow the other rules that are set in place (i.e., daily Facebook check-ins, attending a minimum of 30 workout sessions during the 6 weeks, and maintaining your weight loss for 10 days after your final weigh in, etc.), you get that deposit back. If you don’t, then you don’t. It’s pretty straightforward. There are some truly awesome coaches leading the workouts that really make an effort to get to know you personally and support your progress throughout the challenge, along with holding you accountable (Coaches Catherine and Kealii are both standouts at the Folsom location). The other members and “transformers” that work out there are the best. It’s such an encouraging and positive workout environment. Speaking of the workouts, be aware that they can be pretty intense. If you sign up for the challenge, I would highly recommend that you get a few cardio and strength workouts in before your challenge start date, so you can ease your body into it a little better (there’s no avoiding the pain – it’s still going to hurt, but a little less shock and awe would be to your advantage). The group fitness aspect of the workouts, along with the ever-changing format, makes working out so much more engaging and effective. The food plan is very strict, as it must be in order to meet such an ambitious timeline. But, it’s also very simple to follow. I honestly have no idea what the success rate is for people who have done the challenge, but it didn’t matter to me, because I was willing and ready to make that bet on myself. This is a true challenge and does take a high level of commitment, but the rewards are well worth it. (Sidebar: The only downside I experienced was my digestive system stalling out a bit, but that was fixed by going on a probiotic. I highly recommend that, if you have the same issue.) Results is a very supportive environment and I recommend the challenge to anyone that feels ready to make a sincere commitment to their health and fitness who has been feeling like they need that extra little shove to get things rolling.

Going from a marathon-running, size 4 fit chick to an always tired, never have time for myself, complacent, size 16, fat mommy has been a hard, depressing transition for me to say the least. I really let myself go. The last year alone, I gained about 30 lbs due to drinking sugary coffee drinks and snacking all night to keep myself up while I studied for nursing school. When my 4 year old son asked me, "Are all Mamas fat like you?" I knew I had to get my health in order and set a good example for him. I worked out every other day in a big box gym but didn't pay much attention to my diet. Also, I was just doing cardio and wishing I could afford personal training to show me how to use the free weights properly. I did lose 20 lbs within a 4 month period but started to get bored with the cardio machines. I stumbled upon an ad in Facebook looking for people to join the 20 lb challenge for free. Went to the orientation and was inspired by all the transformations that people made. Also, it is free IF you lose the 20lbs and maintain it for 10 days, work out in group sessions at least 5 days a week, check in on Facebook when working out, and write a review. So basically, in exchange for the free training and meal plan, you will be their advertising. I am not a fan of checking in on Facebook but I was surprised at all the support I received from my friends/family when I did post it on my page. It really wasn't that bad at all. The coaches are AMAZING! They went out of their way to know your name, know your situation, and help you with executing the exercises. The coaches were very encouraging and knowledgable. The meal plan was the hardest part of it. The timing of meals was very important to the plan to keep your metabolism up. Unfortunately, as a student nurse, it was damn near impossible to stick to the timing of the meal plan when I had clinical days in the hospital. I couldn't even get to empty my bladder some days, much more to drink a protein shake and eat some almonds. But nonetheless, I stuck to it as much as I could and found it to be totally manageable (if I didn't have to be in clinical). After the six weeks, I lost 21.6lbs. I can finally see my collar bones and emerging muscles that existed pre-child. What I value most is that I just feel healthier, more energetic, and confident. My son said I'm not a "fat mama" anymore. The only gripe I have is that I am not a very socially outgoing person and the workouts required were all in a group setting. I look like absolute crap when I'm working out and I'm sweating buckets so I felt awkward having to work out with people. I did meet a few participants that were really awesome and fun to talk to but for the most part I stuck to myself. Socializing is very much encouraged here and I never really got into it. But that's just me... I like to listen to my Rage Against the Machine music while I work out and not be bothered. I should say though that the gym members were all pretty personable. The decisive factor for me in joining this challenge was the fact that it was free (if you did all the requirements). As a student, funds are tight and the motivation to get my deposit back was a good one. In the end, I feel like I got the better deal... I know how to use equipment properly and eat clean, and I lost 21.6lbs! Eventually, when I'm making the big bucks as an RN (fingers crossed), I hope to join the gym as member.

Went through the process of signing up for the 20lb challenge they never asked me any question about my medical history (red flag to me), the diet is a high protein one they give you choices for every meal of like four items off a script. So I checked with my dietitian at Kaiser and was told the diet would not work for me due to past medical history I then tried to work with Matthew Weaver to maybe do a gym membership instead so I did not lose my money (Increased carbs would be an instant fail) after some back and forth and me explain to him how unprofessional he is he disqualified (canceled contract) and dropped all communication with me and won't return my money. So off to small claims court we go, be aware the FREE 20lb challenge requires a $397.00 deposit if you meet all their requirements lose 20lb check in on Facebook every day Bla Bla Bla you might get your money back.

Results has been one of the most inspiring and helpful places I have been too. I've only been a member since May but I can't imagine not going. All the classes and trainers are awesome, but I LOVE BOOTCAMP AND COACH SHENELL!!! If your looking for a suportive gym that makes you feel like family and not just another membership this is your place.I'm toned , energized , and the stress of my day rolls off with the sweat!!!
