Problems / Issues  -

I am assessing an assignment that originally had a goobric attached to it that is different from the rubric I am now using (I teach writing, so I use different rubrics for each draft). I assessed the first 5 documents using the newly-attached goobric just fine, but every student's document after those first five is showing the old rubric when I open the goobric app. I've tried deleting my history and cookies, closing out Chrome, and even restarting my computer. I've tried reattaching the new rubric and even changing back to the old rubric and then changing back to the new one, but nothing works. I've used multiple rubrics on the same document several times already and not had a problem. I'm not sure why the goobric app is not recognizing the rubric that is attached in Doctopus for only these select students.

Help!

OK. Thanks. I thought it might be holding on to the old rubric for some reason. I'll try this. Thanks for your help and the quick response! I truly appreciate all of the work you do to help with problems with the app.

Whether you are considering gamifying a single lesson, an entire curriculum, or a whole school, it can be a daunting and confusing process. Those who try their hand at integrating game mechanics into the classroom setting may meet with less than stellar results and give up after just one attempt ...

Introduction

I teach composition, speech, argumentation and debate, American literature, and graphic novels. My pedagogical interests include social media, digital humanities (or, as I like to call them: humanities), hybrid learning, and hacking education. I'm mom to an awesome 9 year old, a weenie dog, and a geriatric cat. I share links that don't necessarily reflect my own beliefs (unless they're from my blog) but that I think are important to analyze and debate.
