From the Management at the Maison Dupuy Hotel:
Hurricane Isaac blew through New Orleans and took its' own sweet time leaving.  Unfortunately the
Hurricane left water in almost every room in the hotel.  We are currently in the process of restoring all
200 of our rooms and suites.

We have crews here 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week trying to get us back up and running.  It has been a
challenge to say the least!  The good news is that we will have all the rooms restored by late January!
Just in time for Superbowl and Mardi Gras.

We thank you for your patience with us as we recover from the damages that Hurricane Isaac caused
our beloved property.  We ask you to please call 1-800-535-9177 and we will be happy to answer any
of your questions.  If you wish to reschedule your reservations or are having a group function, wedding,
etc., please call us.  We cannot wait to welcome our loyal guests back to the Maison Dupuy Hotel.

In the meantime, Bistreaux is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.  The bar in the
Bistreaux is open and hoping you'll stop by for a drink. Le Meritage is open for dinner Tuesday through
Saturday for dinner.  Please call 504-522-8800 for reservations. Chef Mark Harris looks forward to
welcoming you back.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement as we work to restore our spectacular hotel.
We look forward to seeing you in 2013!

The Meritage was once OK, but now it is Amazing. I think they recently hired a new food and beverage director and just weeks later, the improvements in service have been magnanimous. The food too, is exceptional. I highly recommend it...if the price is in your range.

FANTASTIC! We had an outstanding meal at Le Meritage. After a couple of nights in the French Quarter eating lots of NOLA standards. The concept of organizing the menu with wine parings was a great idea - the ability to select small or large plates brilliant. The Duck 2 ways, Scallops and Lobster Risotto we are fantastically done. And the service was the best we had in NOLA! This should be on everyone's list.

"one of our favorites on our ""foodie adventure""during jazz fest. a lovely room at maison dupuy and quiet (something you usually can't find in nola). fantastic martinis (pricey but worth it). the best thing - half or whole pours paired with half or whole portions of delectable appetizers and entrees. seared sea scallops & lamb osso bucco couldn't have been better. definitely worth the $$$$."

One of the best dining experiences we've had. The wine-driven menu is unique and well thought out. I love the option of ordering everything as either a full or half order (even the wine!). The service was warm and personal. The duck two-ways and vichyssoise... I can't even express how delicious. We can't wait to go back.
