My wife and I love this place! We try to find one no matter where we are. If you love beer this is the place for you. The Tatonka stout is my favorite! Thick creamy head every time. My wife loves the Black cherry coke and we have never had a bad meal or customer service. They atmosphere is relaxed, and great for every type of group ( from 1 person to 10). I have been to several different ones and they are all wonderful. Treat yourself and try BJ's.

I've been here two times already, and the food is amazing. Our waiter was super friendly. This restaurant offers lighter meals for those watching their calories. However, if you're not worrying about eating healthy or just want to treat yourself, I suggest getting the carnitas fries with chile verde appetizer or a Pizookie for dessert.

Let me lower your expectations from the start. Expect empty drinks, decent food, and plenty of conversation of who remembers what the wait staff looks like (because it is easily 20 minutes before you see them again, yes this was timed). Recommend that you pass on this restaurant. Unless there is a major overhaul on staff. It has been this way since opened a few years ago. (Only saving grace for you is to bring good company and cards to play games while you wait) Avoid!

Our first visit to BJ's came after a long day of shopping at the Mall of Louisiana. The food and service was fantastic, so much so that we decided to drive over an hour just to experience this wonderful restaurant again, in celebration of our wedding anniversary. This experience was the worst! Our waitress brought my husband's drink first, mine (a root beer) had to come from the bar so it would be along shortly. Shortly turned into several minutes and when it was brought, she just kind of threw it at our table as she walked by. She was quite pleasant to her other tables (only 2 that I saw, not like she was swamped!), we saw her chatting them up and enjoying their company, guess that made her too busy to notice us. After several more minutes she came and asked us if we needed more time to review the menu....of course not, we were ready when she threw my drink at me. Before our food arrived, with both our beverages about the same level, she brought my husband another soda, I of course didn't get one. When the person who brought our food out asked if she could refresh my drink, I said yes please, 20 minutes later and after I had stopped eating because I was dying of thirst, my husband managed to flag our waitress down and ask her for another root beer. Again, she threw it at the table as she walked by. My husband was finishing up eating and at this point, she decided to push dessert most likely in an attempt to get us to pad our check, so she began being almost pleasant. We declined dessert and asked for boxes (my food was cold since I couldn't eat it without something to drink for over 20 minutes, plus the chicken was really dry!!!) Now she wanted to gauge our experience....being sure to tell us she hoped we had a pleasant and wonderful experience. This went from the best place in Baton Rouge to I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. A restaurant that is this inconsistent is NOT the place for us.

Called ahead of time to reserve the place for a large dinner which they told me they would. Dinner time comes around and my party arrives only to be told that there would be a 40 minute wait...Whats the point in making a reservation then?

This is a really good place to eat, but I must say they are hit and miss. If I go there 20 times, 12 times is a miss(food not so good) and the 8 times is a hit(food is beyond awesome ). I love the cajun pasta but the pizza is always good.

Dried-out frozen fish in a shopping mall parking lot. Why'd I ever go? For the beer?
