Council is currently working with the Tweed Byron Aboriginal Land Council to undertake a two-week fox trapping program on the Fingal Peninsula.

The fox population poses a serious threat to native species and ABC has written an article about it - http://ow.ly/a0fH50ieckc

⚠️Trapping is being undertaken on private land only and will be signposted to alert members of the public. Pet owners are responsible for keeping their pets out of these areas.⚠️

Could this be the oldest mug in the Tweed? This is all part of the Boomerang Mugs initiative being trialled by seven coffee shops in Murwillumbah (this classic World Expo '88 mug is exclusively available in Ju Ju's).

Customers can borrow a clean mug to take away rather than paper/plastic coffee cups. Everyday 2.7million paper/plastic cups get thrown away in Australia #WarOnWasteAU

All shops will accept donated mugs as along as they're not cracked, chipped etc.
