Helen M. Overland has been immersed in the online world for almost a decade.
As Vice President, Client Services at Search Engine People, Helen is responsible for assisting a team of account directors and managers to help organizations grow their market share using the online channel.
Helen combines her tech savvy with her knowledge of online channels to identify innovative online tactics. She sharpened her skills in the trenches of E-Commerce and grew revenues straight through the dot-com burst. In the past, Helen has generated sales in excess of $500k within an $18k online marketing campaign.
Helen has worked with clients such as TD Canada Trust, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, National Wildlife Foundation, Canadian Tire, The Canadian Press, Tridel and the Canada Science and Technology Museum.
She is known online as semlady, and shares her creative insights at marketing conferences and events such as Search Engine Strategies, SMX Social Media, SMX Analytics, PodCamp, Social Media for Government, SustainabilityCamp, webinars and various other events.
