The simplest ideas.

This is pretty rad. Really rad.
The company what3words assigned every 10-square-foot block of space in the world a new name. It makes more sense than you'd think.

"Imagine a world where you are denied employment or credit based on the information obtained from your car and sold by your insurer. What could possibly go wrong?"
TigerPlish writes: Allstate has been granted patent no. US 20140080100 A1 for a "driving-behavior database that it said might be useful for health insurers, lenders, credit-rating agencies, marketers and potential employers." The program is just in the patent stage for now, but the company says: "t...

Talented young artist needs a help acquiring a digital tablet for college. #art   #illustration   #education   #educationaltechnology
We are taught to believe that talent and hard work alone will lift us onto the shoulders of our dreams, but often there are basic tools that must be acquired in order to have a chance of reaching our ultimate potential. My daughter is entering college this fall, and possesses both the raw artist...

Lotta history and science here. Tragedy too.

The man leaned over his creation, carefully assembling the tiny pieces. This was the hardest part, placing a thin silver plated diaphragm over the internal chamber. The diaphragm had to be strong enough to support itself, yet flexible enough to be…

I used to love this place. Classy, well-kept pool tables and a bit of music. If you want loud, the midway at the other end had the noise and booze. But now everything everywhere's loud as hell; even the music is cranked so loud in the midway, it's an assault on the senses. And no pinball. Thank god they didn't get rid of ALL the pool tables. Where's the class? Where's the relaxation?

High end outlet stores (that arent really "outlets" even) make you look tacky. But there's a Daiso, at least.

I had to come here to get the Metro Shelf I wanted for my apartment. I hate trying to navigate this place on any kind of timeframe. I'm sure I'd like it if I had a bunch of money and could take my time wandering around with no particular goal.

Never been to this venue before. Great show, but the balcony seats face the middle of the floor and not the stage. Great way to get a crick in your neck. But i guess there are shows that perform on that middle floor and not the stage. Awesome that it's literally next to the light rail stop for the convention center.

I think they capture the rural hospitality quite well with their styling and service. I love all the polished wood for everything and we had a great server in Kemera. Wish there was a location closer to my house.

Best "steam table" Chinese food I've had. The addition of the steamed veg as a side option is great! Be warned, there is no flavoring on the veg. But an OK way to get some unsweetened vegetables in your fast food.

Didn't think I could love a burger chain this much. Limited menu, done right, with the "secret" options for those who need the ridiculous burgers that other chains have.
