MSNBC ratings fall through the floor, take a look at who’s at the top
Michael Cantrell | April 1, 2015 | Young Conservatives

If you’re looking for a bit of good news to give you a pick-me-up, then what you’re about to read should definitely do the trick.

First quarter television ratings have MSNBC hitting it’s all-time low, followed by CNN, with Fox News once again claiming the top spot.

Do you hear that?

That’s the delicious, savory sound of liberals crying themselves to sleep tonight.

From Deadline:

Talk about a tale of two cable news networks. With its 53rd consecutive quarter total audience win, Fox News Channel saw a 10% primetime rise among adults 25-54 in first-quarter 2015 over last year. In fact, with 321,000 on average among the 25-54s in primetime, Fox News thrashed rivals CNN (187,000) and MSNBC (132,000) with more news demo viewers than the other two combined, according to Nielsen.

Contrast that to the fate of the NBCUniversal-owned MSNBC, which  not only saw a 39% drop in the demo compared to Q1 2014 but its worst quarterly result in the category since Q2 2005. If that almost decade-old result wasn't enough of a blow, and rising CNN’s fourth consecutive win over MSNBC in prime didn't cut deep enough, take a 'look at the gutting the cabler newser's nighttime offerings are suffering.

With just 145,000 viewers among the 25-54s on average over the December 29, 2014 – March 29, 2015 period, the once-proud flagship The Rachel Maddow Show hit an all-time quarter low with the worst result since its September 8, 2008 launch. Not only is Maddow down 46% in the demo, but her 9 PM show is also down 19% in total viewers. Fellow primetime show All In With Chris Hayes and Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell fell to their worst quarterly demo ratings since their respective 2013 and 2010 debuts. O’Donnell’s show also had its lowest total quarterly viewership results. And 7 PM’s Hardball With Chris Matthews had its lowest-rated quarter in the demo since 2Q 2005 with an average viewership of 126,000.

Hot News!!! And the 3 Amigos are back together for Live Shows....nevermind that it isn't to be called Top Gear. The truth is, it couldn't be far more appropriate than the title it has - the Clarkson, Hammond and May Show! That is how its always been anyway. Don't matter if there was no Stig...or that it won't have any BBC branding because those matter not to the audience who come for the chemistry of the 3. Glad to know we can watch them once more doing their most ridiculous and hopefully not for the last time. 😊 Lucky audiences in Norway and Oz.

Also...funny how suddenly JC is acceptable again to the BBC since they cannot be bothered to refund the 200k ticket holders of the pre-sold fully booked global events...suddenly JC's hungry moment becomes a non-issue when they are held to pay out £10 million in refunds, at least. Now what about that £150 million per annum lost? Will the bean counters bring the bottomline doom story out soon? Or that £1k/ day security drama over that 1 overseas email the Lord Hall and his lady received (evidence please)...which the police considers non-trivial but the Beeb Lefties overreacted to so as to request special forces protection for their dear leader Kim Jung Hall? If only the TV license payers can ask for refunds too...

BBC lefties, you hypocrites.

Have you ever wondered why it's OK to make jokes about Catholics, the Pope, Jews, Christians, the Irish, the Italians, the Polish, the Chinese, the French(including French Canadians) etc., but it’s insensitive to make jokes about Muslims? We need to level the playing field for the sake of political correctness.

Jeff Foxworthy on Muslims:

1. If you refine heroin for a living, but you have a moral objection to liquor, You may be a Muslim.

2. If you own a $3,000 machine gun and a $5,000 rocket launcher, but you can't afford shoes, You may be a Muslim.

3. If you have more wives than teeth, You may be a Muslim.

4. If you wipe your bottom with your bare hand but consider bacon to be unclean, You may be a Muslim.

5. If you think vests come in two styles: Bullet-proof and suicide. You may be a Muslim.

6. If you can't think of anyone you haven't declared jihad against, You may be a Muslim.

7. If you consider television dangerous but routinely carry explosives in your clothing, You may be a Muslim.

8. If you were amazed to discover that cell phones have uses other than setting off roadside bombs, You may be a Muslim.

9. If you have nothing against women and think every man should own at least four, You may be a Muslim.

10. If you find this offensive and don't forward it, You may be a Muslim.
