I still don't understand how people can post work done by others then write "copyright infringement not intended." Did you put the video up by accident?

Introduction
I thrive on using the skills I've developed in over 8 years of journalism, digital media and events management experience to overcome challenges, surpass expectations and add value to every organisation I work with.

My work has given me the opportunity to gain skills in a number of fields including leisure, entertainment, media, publishing and education, or what I like to refer to as four simple words: Words, Web, Music, Media.

Words
I began my career as a journalist for The LINC magazine, a quarterly publication direct-mailed to around 30,000 young people. Here my main responsibility was to provide music and sport coverage as well as working on feature articles dealing with with important issues relevent to our audience.

Expanding on my role there, I also worked as Copy Editor and for several editions in 2008 was Editor-in-Chief before taking a step back to concentrate on other priorities.

Now a freelance writer, I contribute news, reviews and features to a range of print and online publications and write a regular column on social media, communication and productivity forLifehack.org.

Web
For seven years, I worked with Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust, a large social enterprise operating leisure and culture facilities on behalf of a number of local authorities, where my main responsibility was to manage online content and social media delivery.

My biggest success here was developing a website for young-people over a period of five years and taking responsibility for increasing page views year-on-year to the point where they reached 1 million page views per year.

Music
Music remains my biggest passion, and I have used developed a number of skills working on various projects.

For several years, I have played an increasingly larger role in the development of Haigh Fest, a large outdoor music festival which attracts crowds of around 8,000 each July. My role here involves working with a small team to select each year’s line-up before taking a lead on the marketing of the event through online media.

Outside of that, I am the Event Manager for Millstone Rocks, a three-day event live music event featuring artists from all over the UK. I provide marketing and publicity services to artists and events and have vast experience in artist development.

A confident public speaker, I usually take on the role of Master of Ceremonies for most events I'm involved in,

Media
Other projects have included work as editor, co-producer and co-director of Just Another Sport, a documentary looking at the impact of skatepark facilities on local communities. This film was used to successfully lobby councillors in Ashton-in-Makerfield to develop a new park.

Other film work includes music videos for unsigned artists and a one-hour documentary about the process of filmmaking.

I have a keen interest in graphic design and visual arts, and always aim to keep an eye for aesthetics in my work.

I have worked as a producer on a series of well-recieved podcasts, as a DJ at several alternative music venues, and have experience in working with radio, including a short period of work with the BBC.

I am always interested in exploring a new medium and enjoy finding ways to combine traditional platforms with new technology.
