MIPCOM 2015: INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
The National Broadcasting Commission is pleased to invite participation in Mipcom 2015 scheduled for Monday 5 - Thursday 8 October 2015 at the Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France.
Mipcom deepens business relationships amongst various professionals involved in the audiovisual and digital content business, particularly content producers, online video producers, content services, brands and agencies, film industry including film commissions, network operators and interactive technologies for broadband and mobile content distribution.
Mipcom 2015 presents exciting sessions on world premiere screenings, fresh TV and international drama screenings. It provides immense investment opportunities for film financiers/banks, content sellers/ buyers, and fantastic networking events such as the Opening party, Digital Commissioners Matchmaking, Film Commissions Lunch, Women in Global Entertainment Power Lunch, and the Latam Global Dealmakers Lunch.
In 2013 and 2014, the National Broadcasting Commission created the Nigerian pavilion in Mipcom to provide Nigerian content producers, television operators, pay TV operators and financial institutions with investment opportunities that can increase Nigeria’s foreign direct investment (FDI) and accelerate development in the broadcasting sector.
Mipcom 2015 promises to provide a Global Hotspot on the Nigerian Content Market, Nigerian night and a networking cocktail to enable our participants network with their foreign counterparts and also enter into co-production agreements.
Each Pod in our stand costs 3000 Euro while each participation badge is 1000 Euro each. We have limited spaces available.
Please note that visa invitation letters are only guaranteed on full payment. The Commission will secure visa invitation letters from Reed Midem (Organisers of Mipcom) after full payment has been made by the participant. Visa processing shall be the responsibility of the participant.

Introduction
The National Broadcasting Commission is a parastatal of the Federal Government of Nigeria, empowered to regulate the broadcasting industry by Act no. 38 of 1992 as amended by Act no. 55 of 1999.  The Federal Government of Nigeria, in line with the recommendations of the Committee on National Mass Communications Policy, promulgated the enabling decree on August 24, 1992,  This decree and its amendment have been adopted as Acts of the National Assembly numbers 38 and 55 in line with our present democratic status.
