Shaun Duncan: The Menec Alignments are rows of massive stones which stretch for just over a kilometre, ending in a large cromlech (or stone circle) at the western end near the village of Carnac. They were erected around 6000 years ago for purposes largely unknown. The picture above was taken in the cromlech, which was most likely some sort of ritual space. There were at least six cats hanging out there on a daily basis, soaking up the Druid vibes.
