My The Force Awakens inspired troopers can now turn their heads!

The chevron shape is not quite right on the rubberneckers, but the basic helmet form is solid.

Also lets have a big round of applause for OpenOffice Draw! The random vertical blue line behind trooper number three is an "export to .gif" artifact that had me shouting at the computer. Thanks for letting me know it's time for a break OpenOffice. :)

Having chickened out on detailed backgrounds I return us to the radial gradient realm. Within we find some mongrel characters possessing characteristics of both anthropomorphic animals and humans. Plantigrade legs and subdued animal facial characteristics make them outcasts. I have yet to decide how common they are or what their role will be in my setting will be.

My characters have finally escaped from the land of eternal radial color gradients!

After attempting some dungeon interiors and being flummoxed by perspective I went for an outside scene.

Looking forward to twiddling with the cartoony and detail dials to find a style I like.

Another awesome Heroic Maps dungeon tile made with fun foam and glue sticks!

This one was big and had lots of curves and nooks and corners so it took about 2 hours. Much of that was waiting for the glue to dry.

A fun foam piece this size tends to be a bit more bendy than the smaller ones. Still, cutting all those curves and bits out of corrugated cardboard would be beyond my patience threshold. Fun foam and scissors for the Win! :)

The mascot of the school I work at is the Spartans. This is a quick piece I did this morning. Sadly our color scheme is pale blue and white but I had to jazz this guy up a bit. I also gave up on the shield as it covered up the awesome six pack all us Spartans have. :)

Sit Brunhilde! Sit Gertrude! Good Girls!

I made a sitting pose for the four legged doggies so that they would be narrow enough to fit as a regular sized printed miniature.

When I am less lazy I will make the bodies fuzzy as to match the feet.

While the glue on my new fun foam dungeon tile was drying I made a quick doggie companion for one of my characters.  Tried a few more complex shapes for the body but ultimately settled for a nice oval.
