Another trip to Philly, another new indie coffee house--I just cannot keep up!!!

Peddler Coffee has been open a couple of years, but I only just now saw it when I googled for best coffee. This cute space has wifi, outlets, and slightly easier parking than cafes further into Center City, and a couple of unusual elements. Peddler batch brews coffee using the Chemex method, something that is quite rare, and they also use straws made out of paper, something I've never seen before.

The coffee itself, a Brasilian roast today, was a bit too dark for my tastes, but still good enough that I hope to return to Peddler one day and see what else they have, perhaps trying it as a freshly-made Chemex pour over.
