According to the blogs, the craft coffee scene in Panama has bloomed since the last time that I wisited, and I was able to put a goodly number of cafes on my map.

Mentiritas Blancas was located within walking distance of the Ramada, and my mother enjoyed the look of the space, including the artisanal crafts displayed on a shelf in the back, as well as the juices.

I, focused on the coffee, of course, and I quite enjoyed a V60 brew of a natural-processed Panamanian roast (naturally) from the Santa Clara region.

The baristas were quite helpful in chatting about the coffee, and I all-around enjoyed the atmosphere and left hoping that I will be able to return one day.
