The nearest indie coffeehouse, listed on the London's Best Coffee app, to the Westfield Stratford City mall, was called, oddly enough, Tina, We Salute You.

Actually, no, the nearest cafe was actually called Hand, BUT they decided to take off for the summer, for some destination in Greece, so I don't know if I'll ever experience them.

Anyway, TWSY, a name conceived while in the throes of intoxication, is another of the many London cafes that only offer espresso-based drinks, from a local roaster called Alchemy.

The barista had the forethought to serve me a long black with an additional cup of hot water, and I was able to thin down the strong espresso taste to something that I enjoyed.

Also enjoyable, the kitschy artwork (paintings of Tina) on the walls, and on the windows, as well the ample quantity of sunlight coming in through the picture windows.

Granted, Stratford is not a place that most people, even myself, will get to that often, if at all, but when in the neighborhood, Tina, We Salute You, is definitely worth a wisit.
