When I found OTL in a blog of must-see Miami coffeehouses and noticed that they serve Counter Culture, I was unenthused, but the photograph of the space compelled me to drive over.

The moment that I walked inside, I was reminded of the bright design of New Order Coffee in Detroit, minimalist with splotches of primary colours, notably pink.

As I suggested earlier, the coffee itself is nothing to write home about--just Counter Culture's Fast Forward blend for the drip, but the cafe is still worth wisiting for the ambiance and the food menu, which includes something that I've never before seen at a craft coffeehouse--plantain chips!

OTL sits on a street in a rather posh neighborhood, where the shops are all upscale, much of the parking is reserved for walet, and security walks around. Lisa Brown referred to the area as "ridiculous", but in my opinion the clientele inside OTL did not seem that rich or snobby.
