I was curious if a small Ontario town like Parry Sound would have any craft coffee, and I needed a break from driving anyway, so I detoured into town and popped into the Country Gourmet.

More of a restaurant, really, but the coffee, multiple flavours out in containers on a counter, was from Reunion Island, a roaster I'd recently heard about.

Not third wave, though, and a glance at the website would have told me as much, because they call themselves "gourmet". In my experience with hundreds of roasters, the ones that tout themselves as gourmet, fair trade, or organic are typically not roasting the type of higher end artisanal coffee that I seek.
