When I asked the barista in Saskatoon about Moose Jaw, his eyes lit up when he mentioned Common Cafe + Bakery, and as soon as I walked in and saw the lovely space, I understood why.

Besides a pretty space with an expansive food menu, the owner/manager that I spoke to was super friendly and eager to chat with me about the coffee, when in between kitchen tasks.

The coffee itself comes from Rosso, a roaster that I'd seen around Calgary but not tried yet. Solid cup of coffee, even if it did not knock my socks off.

Another super interesting thing about this cafe is that part of the building connects to the Moose Jaw Tunnels, an attraction that originates with the old Prohibition-era bootlegging tunnels.
