With 15 new Starbucks to wisit around Montreal, I did not have any time, nor appetite, to seek out indie coffee on Monday, but since we overnighted in the city, I had a shot on Tuesday.

I did not want to drive back into downtown Montreal, or anywhere in that direction, but fortunately, artisanal coffee is all over the city, and we found this cafe, Dispatch Coffee, in the general direction we were headed.

They roast their own coffee, in this minimalist space, and offer both Fetco-brewed drip coffee and V60 pour overs. The barista was quite friendly and willing to talk about the coffee, and her recommendation of an Ethiopia Yukro turned into a pretty good cup of joe.
