Ever since I tried coffee from NEAT at the Joe Pro Shop in NYC, I've tried to make a point of stopping in at their now-closed Westport cafe when I had a chance. The last time there, I learned that they have another cafe, here in Darien, and I finally had a chance to pop in.

Good cup of coffee as expected, brewed on something called a Moccamaster. A little pricey, though, $4.50 for the cup, a price that most cafes would charge for a pour over, not batch brewed coffee.

The modest-sized space itself is cute, befitting the charming Connecticut community of Darien, with an eclectic decor, plenty of outlets, wifi, and easy parking.
