Harold's Coffee Lounge is one of the few remaining cafes I'd not yet wisited, from that New Times article, but that doesn't mean I'm close to done. As the barista said, craft coffee has exploded in Florida, and he gave me the names of a few places. And I guess the scene is pretty competitive, because one of the shops, Evernia, already closed, after having just opened in 2013.

Anyway, back to Harold's--they serve Intelligentsia, either as a drip or a Kalita pour over. The shop has an eclectic feel, with patio seating in front and in back, and cool artwork on the walls. Plenty of seating, including tall tables, outlets, and fast wifi. Also, this part of West Palm Beach has free parking for a few hours, making it a good place to hang out and work.
