My LATAM flight from MDE to BOG, though quite cheap at $38, was delayed over two hours, which really put the squeeze on my schedule for wisiting five of the seven new Starbucks that had opened in Bogota since last February.

I was lucky to make it to all of them, and luckier still that Amor Perfecto, and craft coffeehouse recommended by a few blogs, was open til 9 PM. I made it with barely 10 minutes to spare but that was still enough time to enjoy an excellent AeroPress cup of a smooth, chocolaty roast.

I wish I'd had more time, because I loved the space, which includes a coffee lab that they use for tastings and other events.

I suppose that I'll never really have time to keep up with Bogota's artisanal coffee scene, but if I ever do catch up, I'm making a return wisit to Amor Perfecto!
