Huge disappointment. Nothing was positive about out dinner last night. ( 8/3/15) The waiters were distant and absent most of the meal. The food was NOT GOOD. Bland, expensive, unimaginative, and unremarkable. I was so angry when I was done with dinner, I said I will NEVER go back there again. The Manager was pretentious and phony. They said on the phone, when we made the reservation, that they did honor restaurant week for dinner and when we got there, no such luck. (we're sorry, the waiter said, just for breakfast! Breakfast?!?) The tuna appetizer was thin little slivers of raw tuna with some chopped up jalapeno dressing, for $20. horrible! the whole branzino was bland and tasteless. the pasta dish was cold and minimal. I normally don't go to the trouble of writing a poor review, but this was worth the time. I say they are out of business in a year! Skip A Voce' downtown on Madison. Go to Park Avenue Café down the block!

The food is OK but grossly overpriced. Waiter was clueless when I asked about vegan options and suggested some pasta dishes which obviously had cheese listed in the ingredients. Disappointing.

Have you ever cried after seeing your main course during RW? I know I did. When I went, it was this beautiful piece of pork! A Voce's decor does not fail to impress either. If there's that coworker you've always wanted to impress....

Waste of money. Never again, food was average at best. Any local pizzeria would have been better.

A friend of mine once lived in the Time Warner building so I know many of the stores/restaurants there are overpriced. Fortunately for my family and I, A Voce Columbus Circle wasn't overpriced or overhyped. Ambience: Classy with high energy and attentive service. While most diners are wearing button-down shirts, slacks, and an occassional jacket (men) or dresses and heels (for women) the staff were friendly enough not to make me feel uncomfortable in my dark blue jeans. With a view of Central Park south and Columbus Circle this would be an equally appropriate place for a date or a business meal. Service: attentive and not pretentious. Food: Great (but not the best) Italian food. I would go back again. Here are the dishes I tried: -Pork belly with pistachios and figs: not your average pork belly. Tasty and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. -Funghi al forno: Royal mushrooms with truffles and hazelnuts. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms but these were delicious. -Linguini verdi: spinach and parsley pasta with crab. I just wanted to try this and it ended up stealing the show. Light and refreshing. -Maiale: pork chop. I generally like all porkchops but this one was huge. Essentially a double serving of pork chop (with two bones) cooked evenly throughout. -Chicken: Juicy and well cooked, but honestly do you really want to come here for chicken? -Hanger steak: beautifully plated, thinly sliced steak pieces with truffles and artichoke. The presentation was good but the steak was unimpressive. -Sea bass: I do not recommend the sea bass. -Dessert: I only had space for the Bomboloni which was delicious. Soft pastries/doughnuts that taste great dipped in what I want to call chocolatey goodness.

A very comfortable italian restaurant in Madison Avenue. The food, service and ambiance are of the highest order. A place we have been going to since it opened about 6 or 7 years ago. It is quite noisy but always busy and buzzy.
