As a mom, you probably feel like you say the word "No" all day. Especially if you have a toddler because it seems like their favorite thing to do is things they are not supposed to.

Yet, if we are honest with ourselves, whether you are a mom or not, you may say No a lot, but not always at the times and to the things that matter the most. We often can find ourselves overwhelmed, overextended, and exhausted because of all the things we said Yes to. As women, we cannot do it all or be it all to everyone no matter how much we try or may want to.

We have so many things in our lives that are competing for our time and attention, some we can say Yes to & some we need to say No to. So head over to the blog as we talk about embracing the power of No in order for us to practice better self-care.

As wives, we often look to Proverbs 31 as our standard and strive to be like her. God gives us an awesome biblical example within these scriptures. I know there is so much for us to learn from Proverbs 31 about our roles within our families. Yet have you ever stopped to see if your hubby holds the same standard of you? I know I had not and was pleasantly surprised when my hubby gave me his blog post topic for the month.

So check the blog today for a little ‘Tea with E’ where my hubby, Eric, stops in to give us a little peak into the male perspective on a Proverbs 31 wife.

February is thought of as the month of love. Because of Valentine’s day, we often try to put a little extra effort in showing those we love how much we love them and what they mean to us. While I believe this is very important, not just is February, but all the time, we often leave one person off this list, ourselves.

Practicing good self-care is not only for us, but also helps us to be better wives and mothers. Taking the time to show love and invest in yourself does not have to take much time or effort, but it is worth the investment.

So head over to the blog as we talk about five simple ways we can all love and practice taking better care of ourselves.

I am a woman that craves order. My planner is always near me and I make more lists for things than I care to admit. And if you are anything like me, your planner is always with you as well and you have a routine that your family can almost bet on. Having a routine is great because there is power in the routine. Yet although you may have a routine, is it really working for you?

Do you have the time you need to work on those goals you set a few weeks ago? Do you have the time you need to spend uninterrupted quiet time with God daily? Do you have the time to take care of one of the most important people in your life, YOU? If the answer is no to any of these questions, you are not alone.

So head over to the blog as we take a closer look at our routines and look at ways to make your routines actually work for you.

As a mother of three daughters, whenever I hear the words 'let go' I feel a sudden urge to let my inner Elsa shine and break out into song. 🎤Let It Go! Let It Go!🎤 (And no one will judge you if who started singing along with me 😘)

If you have never watched the movie Frozen then you don't know what you are missing. There is something so freeing about letting go, both in life and in song. As we continue in this month's flavor of the month, self-care, it's important that before we start doing anything new, we have to learn to let go of some of the things that may be negatively affecting us.

So head over to the blog where we talk about really letting go. Letting go takes our eyes off the past and casts it on the future.

As time goes by and years between your wedding day and today get further and further apart. Things change and so do people. So the man you married all those months or years ago is probably not the same man he is today, and neither are you the same woman. As time goes on, careers take off, kids are born, and life just happens, things change.

Yet, despite the changes that you may go through, the commitment you made to your husband and God remains the same. This thing called marriage is not easy, but nothing worth having ever is. So I want to ask you a real question, do you LOVE your husband?

So head over to the blog as we answer this real and personal question. #marriagegoals #marriedlife #reallife #21flavorsofsplendor

Communication is key in marriage and talking about money is a part of those much needed ongoing conversations we all must have. It is usually never easy to talk about money in marriage. Yet, it is critical for us to talk about and for us to learn to manage money together in our marriages.

Being united means united in all areas. Not just those you feel most comfortable with. It means coming together, working on and through everything together. Taking what was his and what was yours and making in ours. If God has joined you together, why allow money to separate you?

So head over the blog as we talk about something we all have to deal with in marriage, money, and start to change his and mine to ours.
