Love, LOVE this commercial.... and "American Woman" is quite fitting for a song written by Canadian Burton Cummings of The Guess Who.  When it came out in the 70's we all thought it was about Vietnam but no, according to Cummings, "we came from a very strait-laced, conservative, laid-back country, and all of a sudden, there we were in Chicago, Detroit, New York – all these horrendously large places with their big city problems. After that one particularly grinding tour, it was just a real treat to go home and see the girls we had grown up with. "

Released on Friday to try and minimize the impact on the news cycle. What a waste of time and money on the part of the GOP.

"A two-year investigation by the Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee has found that the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administration appointees.

Debunking a series of persistent allegations hinting at dark conspiracies, the investigation of the politically charged incident determined that there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue, and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria."

I don't blame the corporations quite so much. I see cronyism as a two way street, neither lane of which can exist without the other.

Corporate lobbying can have disastrous consequences for society, but it wouldn't be possible without corrupt lawmakers who are willing to sell their loyalty to their oath of office and their constituency for power and money. I blame legislators more than corporations and special interests; they are simply working within the boundaries they are able to create for themselves as a result of the system the legislators have created.

I believe if politicians were able to be held to a standard of conduct they themselves did not dictate, cronyism would fall away. Our corrupt systems spring forth from the well of corruption America has allowed, and encouraged, Congress to become. Things will not change until what Americans expect of their representative legislators changes.

YES! Pls Share! ....'This moment feels like the right place to start my story, with sweaty hands and all. You see, we are at a wedding. But it is not your typical wedding. This is our wedding. Sophia and I are about to walk my dad down the aisle to meet Chet and his son, Dominic, and I want to start my story here because we are about to become a family — officially.'

This is Cpl. Nathan Cirillo who lost his life this morning to the tragic shooting in our country's capital. I would like to wish my condolences for this fallen hero to his family, friends and fellow soldiers. May he rest in peace.

Introduction
Crazy, altruistic tech exec who really finds technology boring  but finds solving problems through the application of technology exciting and rewarding!

Working to change the world of disease research through engaging type 1's to participate in the T1d Exchange; an ecosystem that includes Glu, the exclusive T1 member site, a T1 clinical registry, a biobank and other associated diabetes related activities. A cure would be great, but advocating for T1's and improving the quality of life for chidren and adults with type 1 is the next best thing.
