Our annual Memorial Walk on Heritage Day was a great success, thanks to a crowd of enthusiastic families with their dogs.

Nearly 100 dogs big and small took part in either the 2 or 6 km walk. It was fantastic to see so many well behaved dogs in one place!

We would like to thank each participant for joining us on this special day and for their contributions to the Midrand SPCA. Also a big thank you to Ithuba Protection Services for their support during the event.

Cairo the Boerboel and Talos the Pug are participants in one of our Saturday morning obedience classes.

They both thoroughly enjoy their class and can't help clowning about a bit when the opportunity presents itself.

A great blog about all sorts of dog experiences. This one deals with eating stones. One or two entries on describes why it is important to get up when your dog wakes you up in the middle of the night.
