I'm a retired Accounting and Finance professional who enjoys travel, scuba diving, cooking, and chilled citron vodka. I was born and raised in New Orleans, lived briefly in Baltimore, and attended college in Lafayette, La. I'm told I have a pirate ancestor, Gabriel Valcour Aime (aka Louis XIV of Louisiana), that sailed with the pirate Captain Jean Lafitte, built Oak Alley Plantation in La. for his daughter's wedding present, and introduced to the US the practice of growing non indigenous fruits, vegetables, trees, and shrubs in greenhouses on his Louisiana plantation La Petit Versailles. I'm quick witted (dry, sarcastic, one-liners), and can often find something humorous to say on just about any subject. My favorite local watering holes are the Huguenot Village Outback, Hull Street Bonefish Grill, and Northside Grill.
