I'm working on a timer/countdown app. One (and most important) missing thing is to notify the user about the countdown finish. I tried to use Alarm component (1)  for that but it does not work properly if the timer is set to less than 1 minute or so. The better way seems to be using QtOrganizer (2) as I talk about it with +Nekhelesh Ramananthan same time ago. My problem is I have no idea now to use it in pure QML app. I'd be grateful if someone could make a simple minimal example how to do that.

Properties. date : Date; daysOfWeek : DaysOfWeek; enabled : bool; error : Error; message : string; sound : url; status : Status; type : AlarmType. Methods. cancel(); reset(); save(). Detailed Description. The Alarm element encapsulates alarm event data. Supports one time and repeating alarms, ...

+Niklas Wenzel I have contributed to the clock app but it was the version before "reboot", so I think nothing from that code is in the app now. Also I'm of the opinion that we should not limit users just to one app for doing a given thing. Look at the Android, there's a lot of "timer" apps. Even if the functionality is the same for most of them, users can choose for example the one with design they like, or cheaper one, or one which is open source. We also should give Ubuntu users some choice :)

Ciekawe programy i gry  -

Organize Your Unity Launcher Based On The Current Workspace With LSwitcher: http://www.webupd8.org/2015/04/organize-your-unity-launcher-based-on.html

Unity LauncherSwitcher (LSwitcher) is a new tool which can be used to organize the Unity Launcher by letting you control which apps should be displayed (pinned) on the Launcher depending on the current workspace.

Judging by the reviews and bug reports for Circle Message, lots of people have no idea that they can cycle through the info from different apps by double-tap on the phone lockscreen. :-(

Little update for the Level app UI proposition. I've enhanced contrast between the bottom indicator and its background, tested how it looks for people with different kinds of color blindness (based on extension for Inkscape http://kaioa.com/node/91 ) It looks good.
+Michael Hall +Robert Schroll please let me know if you want to go with this design.

OK, I thought about this and I think I was looking at the app as a tool to measure an angle rather then its intended purpose, which is to help get stuff to be "leveled". In this case my UI is rather pointless and could be better used in some other "angle metering" app. I'll try to come up with something different soon(ish).

Is there a way to test apps from the SDK to the phone without using USB cable?

Thanks. All that sounds complicated to me. I never used SSH. Will continue with the USB.
