Back from my first ever Dragon*Con. It was definitely a different con experience for me. Which is good. Why repeat GenCon or Origins or PAX?

I should say that I had a very narrow perspective of the con. Most of my time was spent at the Margaret Weis Productions booth selling copies of #MarvelRPG. I like to think that most of the cool costumes paraded in front of me in the hall at some point, but who knows.

I didn't have to deal with lines or bottle-necked hallways too much. I saw it, and I can totally understand how it warrants legitimate criticism, but I'm can't say too much on that because I avoided that part of the experience.

I did escape the booth to see a BSG panel, the Crossed Swords swordfighting demonstration, and participate in a panel with +Jason Morningstar and +Eloy Lasanta (which Eloy recorded and posted here: http://thirdeyegames.net/indie-games-dragoncon-2012-panel/).

It was kinda cool running into celebrities as I walked the hall. I'll admit that I got a little more excited about that than I expected to. I drank too much, stayed up too late, watched too many people sing "Love Shack" at karaoke, and loved it all.
