Great pizza ! Of course they use fresh ingredients but the trick is they use homemade ingredients. They must but high end from suppliers. The taste stands out ! Did I mention Great pizza ! Service has always been excellent. Fairly good brew selection.

It's a classic in this hood for so many different reasons. It's fast. It's delicious. It's inexpensive. See everything around it changing and it remains a fixture for all to enjoy. I find the garlic potato to be extraordinary.

Classic case of trusting high ratings that are not justified. Besides the below average quality of the food, it was ridicuously over priced. A $3-4 piece of pizza from a mall stall, like Sbarros, was 500% better quality than my $25 meal. Bleh! They delivered to my hotel and forgot half of the order. I paid extra for additional calzone ingredients that I did not receive, so they stole from me. The ingredients that made it into the calzone were stale and disgusting, hard and chewy – I had to spit them out and give up. Such a waste of money, I feel sick from this experience. SMH

There is really nothing special about Walter's pizza. Having grown up in NJ/NY I would grade their non-tri-state area pies as average. There is nothing wrong with average and if you live in Uptown the convenience is well worth it. The staff is very cool, okay, above average.

I really enjoy their pizza. True, not artisinal by any means, for the price you get some tasty, truly satisfying slices. Their dough in particular is very good. For about $4-$5 you can get two huge slices with a drink. Not bad at all! If you want some solid, well made, cheap pizza this is a good place. I'm from Chicago and know pizza, so if you want some gourmet slices, this probably isn't your place.

Walter's is our go-to place for true, NY-style pizza. It's not a frilly, artisan place, it's just solid pizza, best enjoyed with beer--and they happen to have a solid selection on tap. We moved to the neighborhood about a year ago, and were a bit surprised by how many places close by 10, even on the weekend, luckily Walters is there for your late night cravings, with great traditional toppings. Their sauce is great, their toppings are high-quality, and their crust selections are really well executed. I'm not going to say it's the best pizza you'll ever have, but I will say it's the perfect pizza to soothe a pizza craving. Go see what I mean, you'll be happy you did.
