Short story: Proactive Chiropractic is the best. I'm 8 sessions in and my chronic lower back pain has all but disappeared. Long story: I spent much of my formative years hunch over a desk, a book, or homework. Now, in my late twenties, I'm feeling the effects of that history in the form of lower back pain. The past few months have been especially debilitating, impacting my sleep and my endorphin-habit, which led me on the hunt for some relief. I found Proactive Chiropractic through these very Google reviews and can't believe it took me so long to make an appointment. At my first visit Dr. Pollack assessed the situation - a bulging spinal disc - and started treatment right away. He also gave me stretches to do at home, which have kept the relief going between appointments. Appointments are easy to book, they accept insurance, and we've always started on time - my three requirements for great health-related care. If you are suffering from any kind of spinal pain, go and see these guys - I promise you won't regret it.

I have had 3 visits for an on again off again back problem I've been dealing with for a few years. After one visit with Dr. Ryan Mullen I felt more in control of my situation than I did with a medical doctor or physical therapy. The treatments I received in the office in addition to the realistic stretches and exercises he demonstrated for me to perform at home have really made a difference in alleviating my pain and peace of mind as I learn how to help myself. In addition, everyone in the office is very friendly-definitely an office and professionals I recommend.

For once I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line of patients being treated by zombie doctors giving out pre-canned non-specific "care". I hurt my back in the beginning of May and could barely move. Best choice I ever made in life was going to Joe. He actually pays attention to what you saying, talks to you about it, and cares about making it better. He's friendly and personable. No joke, I actually look forward to going to the doctor! Dr Joe's treatment has actually made me better, not wasted my time. I feel better after each visit and I feel like each visit has been worth my time. I can walk and get in and out of the car now. I couldn't before.

I have found Dr. Pollack to be a great chiropractor. He has been treating me for two chronic issues: lower back pain and headaches. Both of the problems have resolved within five weeks of the initial treatment. His office staff is consistently pleasant and easy to work with.

I brought my 13 year old in with severe abdominal pain as a result of antibiotics and Dr. Pollack adjusted her spine and it was as if he'd flipped a switch. A child who was doubled over in pain and listless returned to her perky, pain free self. I was at my wits end trying to assuage the child's pain. It was breaking our hearts to see such discomfort on our child. We walked into Proactive Chiropractic with a hot water bottle pressed to her belly and her head hanging low, after a thorough spinal adjustment our baby girl perked right up. Within an hour she had ditched the hot water bottle. Her lumbar spine was not aligned inhibiting the nerve flow to the areas that control stomach/digestive function. Dr. Pollack straightened her right out and alleviated her pain. THANK YOU!!!

Dr. Joe is wonderful! As a first-time chiropractic patient, he took the time to explain all the possible reasons for my pain and my treatment plan. He has a great personal touch and always makes me feel like I'm his only patient. After a panel of treatments, I am now in a much better place. We continue to work together with a comprehensive treatment strategy that includes stretches and exercises I can do at home. Another huge fan of Dr. Joe and Proactive Chiropractic!

Dr. Pollack is fantastic. He listens to the patient! He helped me help myself when I asked for exercises to help to improve my flexibility and strength so I could participate in my own healing. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has back or shoulder problems. Most importantly, I don't worry that he will do anything that will risk my health or mobility as I fear some chiropractors do. My physician recommended him to me and told me that he trusted him implicitly, and now, I do too.
