Kimono'd waiters in a strip-mall locale dole out steaming ramen & sushi by the piece, roll & boat.- Google
"The fish was not fresh and this is what (atleast to me) makes up good sushi."
"That is a least thing that you can do to respect Ramen."

I live in the neighborhood, and I eat here 3-4 times a month. Mike has done an amazing job. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Sitting at the bar and just asking for what is fresh never fails to impress. The ramen is the best I've had. The staff is courteous and quick. One of my favorite places in SLC. It's under new ownership since most of those low reviews.

I think there's a thing with really good sushi places being hidden in strip malls. When your next door neighbor is a subway it doesn't inspire confidence but fear not, this place is great. Love the sushi but don't sleep on the Ramen, it’s also worth the trip.

Kobe started offering ramen recently and they are doing a good job with that offering. The noodles were more chewy or al dente than I have had in the past but that wasn't bad. The tonkotsu broth was rich and porky which went well with the noodles. The pork was tender and not as fatty as other ramen I have had. The egg was cooked perfectly, running yolk with a soft outer white section. The gyoza was my favorite part of this lunch. The shell was so tender and the filling was not a clump of processed food. The middle had texture and was not a solid mass. It was expensive which will deter me from coming back for lunch but it was tasy while I was eating it.

The time and attention taken to create absolute culinary bliss is something that all involved with Kobe sushi should be very very proud of. The service is friendly and courteous, even in the super busy times that they so richly deserve. Mike and Josh and the wizards at the sushi bar & in the back of the house are always on point. Thank You all Kobe sushi. The lil wifey, and I, are hook line and sinker. Ramen, sushi, house salad, Hamachi kama, & anything else We have tried has been something that You will crave until You return for more!!!!!

Tonkotsu ramen is great! Reminds me of the Ramen from Naruto. Super tasty.

Ordered the ramen and the gyoza. Waitress claimed it was legit Japanese style which is fine. Ramen broth lacked depth and deep flavor characteristic of true authentic pork ramen. Ordered extra charsu (2 preices) but only got one extra. Can't expect the real stuff here in the states which is acceptable. Gyoza tastes cheap and frozen. Sushi looked good probably should a done that. Service is excellent.. Ramen no so much.

Chef Josh is awesome, rolls are great and I suggest sitting at the Sushi bar. But the best part is the Ramen. Wife and I will share a Ramen bowl and get a few rolls. Great date night!
