If you listen to this whilst thinking of a loved one who has departed this world, please be warned...tissues will be required.  I'm a hot mess every time I hear this song.
A Rosie original! It's called "Absent Friends."  Share!

Any of my geek friends got some advice here?  I love Google Chrome, but it does not play nice with my computer.  I get the blue screen of death frequently if it's even installed on my computer.  Any ideas???  Firefox is okay, and I HATE IE, but I would really like to be able to use Chrome again if I can figure out and fix whatever is making it not like my computer.

On Thursday, January 26, 2012, we said goodbye to Chief. His decline was fast, and he went very quickly from a dog that did not know he was sick to a dog that was visibly uncomfortable. His tumor had gotten tremendous, and bothered him greatly. We made the painful decision to give him the final gift of kindness - we let him go. He was, at times, a pain in the ass - anything within his reach was fair game for eating, and his reach extended pretty far due to his size. However, he was even sweeter than he was mischievous, and he will be missed terribly. Rest in peace, Chief Doggy Dog. We'll see you again at the Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks +William Everette for "giving me root"!

In 10 days of 4g device ownership, data connection (3g AND 4g) has been down, or spotty at best, for 4 of those days. So much for the nation's most reliable network, Verizon.

‎2011 has been a busy year for golden rescue. SEVA GRREAT has taken in 127 goldens in 2011, incurring vet bills of more than $119,000. Our very own hospice golden, Chief, is one of the dogs that SEVA GRREAT has spent some of that $119,000 on, taking him to Virginia Tech to see if there was anything that could be done to meaningfully prolong his life after his owners left a tumor untreated for three years. Now, SEVA GRREAT needs help. Would you consider making a tax deductible donation to help this wonderful organization continue to do it's work? Visit their website at www.adoptagolden.com. Donations can be made by mail or via PayPal.
