Okay…I'm sure I'm gonna get flamed for this question, but have DigitalRev ever tried to fake a shot by a female photographer? —have they ever done "Pro Photographer, Cheap Camera Challenge" with a female photographer?

My father had one of these laying around… I asked him what he was doing with it, and he said he was going to throw it away. Ack! He gave it to me instead, thank goodness. lol.

Really sharp, and easily replaced. I'd probably go traveling with that lens.

I love how everyone hates this but loves that corny clip of Mark Schiff rambling about his experiences at the 99¢ store. I swear, Schiff had the cadence of Jimmy from South Park: "Heh! 99¢ store! You heard about this place?" Ugh. Bleh.

I don't think either was an example of great comedy, but at least I laughed at a few jokes in this one.

Jeez. When I heard about this camera, I thought Nikon was going to come out with something a lot like Leica's M240—a sexy camera that could be mistaken for an MP, but had a lot of gadgets hidden away in it.

Why couldn't they do that? Take the Nikon FM, take out the film stuff, add a simple sensor and LCD screen, and leave everything else as it was? People would buy that camera just the same as they bought the first digital Leica M.

+Timothy Brown Just making sure. Wilson definitely deserves the jab for using Rebecca's name and illegally making money off of her.

Introduction
I study philosophy (in the M.A. program) at UC Santa Cruz, but soon I'm moving to the Ph.D. program at University of Washington

I spend my time: cooking, yo-yoing, origami, biting off more than I can chew, the occasional photography binge, and … love, of course.
