Great place, great price, great staff, very nice clean, comfortable & modern rooms. Would be happy to have a family stay here. Breakfast was a bit chaotic & way too many people for such a tiny space.

recently stayed this past sat and checkout sunday. Upon arriving there was no Hello or how are u doing. Had to go look for someone while the cleaning people just walked by. I blew it off. Bed sheets looked dirty so i changed them and used our own. What really upset me and offended me was upon check out the lady told the mananger to go check my room before i got my deposit back. I asked why. This is a first. She said nothing and stared at me. so I asked again whats the purpose of checking my room before i leave, Do u think my family and i stole and broke stuff, whats the deal. she stated to see if we ve been smoking and drinking and broke stuff. We were there for a regional cheer competition from san antonio with kids. I felt disrespected. This hotel has bad customer service compared to other Marriotts we have stayed at..........

I stayed there two nights last week and came back with Bed Bugs. The hotel didn't seem to be very worried about the situation. All they could say was "I am sorry".

"My 17-year-old son and I stayed at Springhill Suites the night before our cruise out of Galveston. We purchased their cruise package and felt it was a GREAT deal. For less than the cost of the combined transportation, we were picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel, were provided free transportation anywhere we wanted to go within a five-mile radius of the facility, had a really good hot breakfast buffet, were provided transportation to the cruise ship pier in Galveston AND transportation from the cruise ship back to the airport at the conclusion of our week at sea. The staff at Springhill could not have been more accommodating. They truly made us feel like valuable customers. A fog-delay caused our ship to dock over three hours late in Galveston. Our Springhill shuttle driver was waiting and got us to the airport in time to make our flights. The facility is modern and the suites are large, comfortable and well appointed. They include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a desk with internet access. I recommend this hotel very highly, particularly for cruise passengers. The cost of transportation required to get from Houston to Galveston and back is daunting. The cruise package provides a GREAT hotel for less than the cost of purchasing the necessary transportation! Only issue we had was that the air conditioning rattled whenever it kicked in. We discovered that simply placing my backpack on top of the unit eliminated this problem. "

The staff was very kind and very helpful. The internet was easy to access and quick. The room was clean and nice. The walls were a little thin as I could hear people walking down the hallway, but not so much that it kept me up or anything. The first room I was in had a weird red stain near the drain off the tub. I asked to switch to a new room and the woman at the front desk said she knew which room I must be in because others had issued the same complaint. She said it was hair dye, and that she had another room she would be happy to switch me to for free. The shuttle to and from the airport comes and goes whenever you request it and they are prompt and kind. The complementary breakfast was actually have quite good and full! Cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravy, orange and apple juice, yogurt... The eggs were a little bland, but all else was good. Overall, not a Ritz Carlton but I have no complaints (besides the word stain and insipid eggs).

We live in Austin, tx we came to Houston for a funeral and reserved a room for a couple of nights. We try to check in and they tell us that they sold our room to someone else!! Not only did they not tell us that we had to be there by a certain time but did not seem to really care that we had nowhere to stay. I will never forget how poorly we were treated by these people. Do not stay here!!

My experience here was pleasant. Upon checking in my experience was a great one. The breakfast was good. The evening drinks and snacks are served at 5:30p.m. until 7:00p.m. The service was good. There is a fitness room available. Other than that I enjoyed being away from home; free breakfast and evening snacks provented me from spending too much money on food. The pool area is small, but I like the fact that the pool is located inside and outside, because the weather was nasty and my children were able to swim inside. I would stay here again. The staff tried their best to make us feel comfortable even though they were short handed and all. I have read previous reviews about the hotel being dated. I feel that $59.00 dollars is not a bad deal for all the amentities that this hotel provides. The room was not bad, the television is flatscreen, and the mattress was very comfortable to sleep in. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling with children. Free breakfast and free evening snacks is a plus when traveling with children.

Excellent breakfast, very comfortable room with kitchenette and sofa, comfortable beds, no smoke! This was very close to Hobby Airport and well accessible to I-45 but not directly in the nearby poorer neighborhood
