I'm a huge fan of Enoteca and the original Vespaio (the more refined sister restaurant next door). Enoteca does italian quite well, lots of great appetizer dishes that make for great sharing, a good wine selection and knowledgeable servers. Portions here are quite large and plentiful and they happily modify orders to suit tastes and dietary restrictions. Nice gelato and salumi bar at front so if you just want a few slices of porsciutto on your gelati lemoni then they have you covered. Also a nice place to stop in and get a drink and a bite if your on your own (at the bar of course).

Loved it! Visiting Austin with my boyfriend and we loved the atmosphere, not to mention the food! Reasonably priced and delicious! Terrible hostess but waitress made up for it. Would without a doubt recommend it!

F*cking Amazing!!!! The Wifey & I were in Austin on business and searched for Italian restaurants. Th name and photos posted by people looked like this place made the food from scratch and the rating was good so we gave it a try. We dined here around 12:30 (to 2pm). Parking was ample. The setting is quaint, personal. Immediately I noticed they make the pasta hand made!!!! Our table was ready in 5-10min, the host was pleasant and attentive. Our waitress was very patient and helpful as she explained the menu options. We ordered the Chopped Salad which was a fantastic ensemble of romaine lettuce, olives, cheeses and more. Big enough for two! Our entrees were amazing! They flavor was explosive and vibrant. Nothing has a bland commercial taste. This place is a cut above the rest and it raises the bar dramatically for quality Italian cuisine. Oh and try the tiramisu!!!

Came here for lunch on a weekend and loved it. The sandwich I had was great. Parking can be difficult.

One of the best Italian spots in all of Austin. It's the little sister to Vespaio next door so you should expect the same level of high quality service and food. Your wallet will suffer slightly less at Enoteca than at Vespaio, but your taste buds won't know the difference and your wait time will be significantly shorter. Recently I went and got their Porchetta sandwich for lunch and was fully satisfied with a hefty sandwich full of slow roasted Kurobuta (black pig) pork on a lightly buttered ciabatta roll. The succulent pork was joined with the earthy aroma of mustard greens and the strong healthy portion of chopped garlic. If you're a vampire or not a fan of garlic, I'd steer clear of this dish.

Good god, yes, yes, yes! This place is delicious! In other words, if you are in the mood for Italian food, it's the spot! Everything is homemade (except the alcohol of course). Gnocchi was melting in your mouth so good and the sauce is smooth. Save some room for desert because their Amaretti cookie is just oh so yummy! Will be back!

I like the fact that there are plenty of sharable items. I enjoyed the mussels, which I don't always love, and the Prosciutto, Fontina & Arugula pizza with sunnyside-up egg. I would definitely ask if white truffle oil is added since it is better to skip it. Really loved the atmosphere of this place, too: dark and quiet. Very appropriate for a date or a chill meal. Nothing totally blew me away here, but it's definitely a solid go-to place on s. congress.

I went to this delightful place and reallly liked the ambiance. The atmosphere is truly reminiscent of Europe with an Austin-y touch to the demeanour of staff. The staff is efficient but sometimes the patrons have a hard time catching their eye. We ordered the Duck Confit along with glasses of some excellent red wine followed by some macaroons. The experience was enough to have me coming back to this little corner of Europe within Austin.
